Nothing damps my Christmas spirit like decorations in shop windows up in early October when it's still 25ºC (77ºF) out there - I actually saw chocolate Santa's on sale in late September (probably last years stock); tons of X-mas adds on TV, Radio, Billboards for months before X-mas. So I try to ignore it all until I feel "Christmas-y"

Step 1: Put your MP3 player on random
Step 2: Post the first line or so from the first 30 songs that play, no matter how embarrassing the song.
Step 3: Let everyone guess what song and artist the lines come from.
Step 4: Bold the songs when someone guesses correctly. (Looking them up on Google or any other search engine is CHEATING!)

So, MY DAD ROCKS!!!

And now I've a new computer (this one) much sooner than I had planned. It was a joint effort and I still have to buy a new monitor (cos these days computers aren't sold with monitors, probably cos there's monitors that cost as much, if not more than a desktop) but until then I've a brand new computer. *dances*

So my old computer has died down. Still have to see what the techs say, but there were rumors about it being something to do with the motherboard so I'm not very hopeful:( It's a quite old machine (from 2000) and the only thing I added to it was memory, it was bound to happen someday.T__T ( Read more... )
